Day 1 - Negombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka. On this day of your 5 days Sri Lanka tour, you shall start exploring its marvels. Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, an agent’s representative will greet you and guide you towards a luxury chauffeur-driven vehicle that will take you around the country.
You will be taken to the neighbouring town of Negombo where you will check in to the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for the first night. Upon reaching your hotel, relish the hospitable treatment you receive and complete your check-in formalities before proceeding to your room. Have a good night’s sleep at your hotel. If you have more time of the day, you can relax on the Negombo beach, which is a popular destination for tourists with its pristine beaches.

Day 2 – Pinnawela / Kandy
Early next morning, you will depart to Kandy. En-route, you will stop at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage for some one-on-one interaction with the Elephants of Sri Lanka.
The Pinnawela Orphanage has been both an orphanage and breeding ground for wild elephants from the year 1975. Currently, there are some 100 elephants here, well accustomed to their curious human visitors. Although the orphanage simulates a natural habitat for the elephants, they are taken twice a day to the Maha Oya for baths, and all the baby calves below 3 years of age, are still bottle-fed.
You will arrive in Kandy in the afternoon. Sri Lanka’s second largest city, Kandy was the capital of the last Sinhalese Kingdom and enjoys a scenic setting around a lake surrounded by green hills. Home to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, said to house Buddha’s tooth, each August the city also hosts the spectacular Perahera festival featuring dancers, firebreathers and lavishly decorated elephants. Late afternoon you will head to a local hall to watch a show of traditional Sri Lankan music, dance and drumming. Afterwards you’ll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, known locally as Sri Dalada Maligawa, the most sacred temple in the whole of Sri Lanka. This important shrine boasts intricate carvings and beautiful Sri Lankan art. During the evening ‘puja’ throngs of pilgrims visit the temple to line up to glimpse the golden casket said to hold the sacred relic and to make offerings of flowers.

Day 3 - Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast visit Kandy city and Botanical garden at Peradeniya and leave for Nuwara Eliya via visiting tea plantation and tea factory.
Peradeniya Botanical Garden display over 4 000 different species of plants, regarded amongst the most superior in Asia. The highlight is the spectacular Orchid collection and a mighty avenue of palm trees. In addition to a plethora of flowering plants, there is also an extensive collection of medicinal plants and spices which can be spotted on your meander across the gardens.
Encompassing over 60 hectares of sublimely designed lawns, pavilions and plant houses, the extraordinary array of Sri Lankan, Asian and international flora is a fragrant, colorful view on the eye. Gorgeous avenues lead on to sections exploding in bursts of tropical color and vast lawns dotted with enormous trees.
Relish a delicious lunch and proceed for your transfer to Nuwara Eliya, also known as ‘Little England’. A paradise for tea lovers, Nuwara Eliya lures travelers from across the globe.Complete the hotel check-in formalities and relax in your room. Later in the evening, you can visit the Tea Processing Center to enjoy the local ambience.
After a hearty dinner, come back to the hotel for a good night’s rest. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 04 - Nuwara Eliya
Enjoy a delectable breakfast and gear up for an enchanting city tour. Your first stop for the day is the Horton Plains National Park, in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second and third highest mountain ranges. The Horton Plains National Park, is a protected area covered by mountain grassland and cloud forest. This plateau at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 meters (6,900–7,500 ft.) and has been said by many to resemble the African savannah. The National Park is unlike any other in the island; it’s as beautiful as it is eerily, and offers a world that is oddly different from any other part of Sri Lanka.
Also visit World’s End, a magnificent escarpment which will definitely be the highlight of your trip. The Horton Plains plateau comes to a sudden end at World’s End, a stunning escarpment that plunges 880m. The walk here is 4km, but the trail then loops back to Baker’s Falls (2km) and continues back to the entrance (another 3.5km). The 9.5km round trip takes a leisurely three hours.
Proceed to visit Baker’s fall, Tea Plantations, Strawberry Farm, and Ambewela Milk Farm. Come back to the hotel for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Day 05 - Nuwara Eliya / Negambo
After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, complete the check-out formalities. Proceed for your transfer to the airport as your 05 days in Sri Lanka tour package comes to an end.
